الشوقِ
فاضت شفتاهْ
للأمةِ
قد كان منا
أن
يلقاهم فأحبَُّتهُ
من
صدّقه وما رآه
والصحابةُ
يسألونْ
ومن
الإخوانُ الباقونْ
ألسنا
نحن المصطفونْ؟
فكان
الردُّ ما معناه
أنتم
أصحابي الأبرارْ
وهم
الإخوانُ الأخيارْ
بيضٌ
غرٌ كالأطيارْ
وجهٌ
حلوٌ ما أنداه
ومن
الكوثر يشربونْ
ومن
يديَّ ينهلونْ
بعدها
لا يظمئونْ
فالشكرُ
إليك يا الله
لحبيبي
كم أنا مشتاقْ
رسولي
طال الفراقْ
والشوق
قد ملأ الأفاقْ
وشوقُ
القلبِ ما أقساه
ودمعَ
عيني أذرفُ
والقلبُ
حباً يرجفُ
وأنا
ببابِك واقفُ
أسألُك
ياربي لقياهْ
عند
الحوض يلاقينا
ومع
الصحب يروينا
وللجنات
أمانينا
لا
تخذلنا يا رباه
With love his lips were flowing
for the Ummah was his goal,
that he meets them as his loved ones
are those who believed in him but he did not see
The Sahaba were asking
who are the brothers still to come?
Are we not the chosen ones?
The reply was..
You are my righteous companions
and they are my brothers in righteousness
white and shiny like birds
beautiful and sweet how noble
From the fountain of Al Kawthar they will drink
and from my hands they will take
After that they will not be thirsty
thanks be to you oh my lord
For my loved one how much am I waiting for him
oh my Prophet (pbuh) the separation has been long.
The yearning for you has filled up the horizon
and the yearning of the heart is so hard
The tears of my eyes flow.
The heart out of love shakes
and I stand at your doors
oh my lord I ask you for me to meet him
By the Fountain he meets us
and with the companions he quenches our thirst
and for Paradise is our hope
so don't forsake
us oh our Lord
