Why should all teaching be based on syllabi?
All teachings are not syllabi based. First of all, keep in mind that there are two types of education, Formal agencies of Education and Informal agencies of Education.
No curriculum (syllabi) is required for Informal education, it is free from all limitations and boundaries. A healthy part of a child's education revolves on his extracurricular or non-curricular activities.
Without overlooking the significance & place of Informal education, I would say to achieve its best benefits & fruits, a child should proceed in the right direction, for his formal education. It means the importance of formal education also cannot be underestimated.
In Formal Education, a good curriculum is essential as its all teachings are based on good syllabi. It will be easier and better to get a good education if the curriculum is comprehensive & interesting.
The curriculum is a gateway; it is to walk on the highway or straight road that leads to knowledge without any zigzag. The journey will be easier, interesting and successful if the highway is straight and smooth. Therefore, for the successful acquisition of knowledge, the syllabi must be comprehensive, interesting & easy.
Even the traits of the best curriculum are not asked in the question but here I would like to explain it:
To prepare comprehensive syllabi it is necessary to take care of the individual interests, differences, psychological needs and requirements of an individual, accompanied by the economic, political needs of a country, to guarantee the development of the nation, reflecting the social, ethical structure of it. And accept the change in view of modern requirements and modern technologies.
It should preserve the cultural & social values, to provide the best ethical structure & highest morals.
Syllabi must create an atmosphere of religious harmony and tolerance in the society, country or nation. It should develop friendship and brotherhood with the world.
At last, It must be implementable.
