Yes, anger is controllable, if not a hundred per cent, still to a great extent.
First, try to understand, there are internal and external causes of anger, to get rid of anger, both causes should be removed.
Sometimes, it is very difficult, if not impossible for a person to remove the external causes. But a man can control the internal causes with his intentions and he should go for it. There are different ways to do this.
Physical escape
1.
A person should move away from the person, thing, or environment that aroused the anger. This removes the external cause, but sometimes Gateway from that place, person, or thing is impossible, for example, he is sitting next to the boss, he cannot kick the boss out, nor can he get up by himself when he needs that job.
Mental escape
In such a
case mental escape can be adopted. A person sitting there should draw his attention to a pleasant event or thing. Or start counting backwards.
The
third, anger is from Satan and he is created from fire. Therefore, when
a person gets angry, he should perform ablution, drink water, sit down
if he is standing up, remember his Lord, and start reciting tawaz
تعوذand mu'awzatin معوذتین.
Fourth, he should not make any decision in the state of anger, especially important or a big one, so the decisions made at that time may be a source of shame for a person. And become a lifelong torment or disease.
May Almighty Allah help us to control our anger.
