Few of the Surahs were partly revealed in Makka and partly in Medina, they are called disputed Surahs.
The total number of undisputed Mukki Surahs of the Quran are 82 and the number of undisputed Madani Surahs is 20.
12 surahs are disputed, I mean some of their parts revealed in Makka and remaining in Medina, the total number of disputed Surahs are 12
Thus the total number of Surahs is 114.
