Distribution/ Divide
When we share a thing or things among more than one, everyone gets less than the actual number. This is the reason divide always reduces the actual number.
It is one of the four basic functions of arithmetic. The other three functions are addition, subtraction and multiplication. Divide means to subtract a number again and again & is the reverse of multiplication where we add the number again and again.
Divide not only reduces the number but reduces everything where it falls, the country, the nation and the power of the state. Partition always breeds division, especially if it is based on hatred. That is why powerful nations work on the strategy of “divide and rule”. Beside dividing other nations they used multiplying their companies, as they decided to set up multinational companies. Where they could raise their wealth and provide a strong foundation for their business to become more powerful. In this way, these two basic functions of arithmetic "divide others and multiply your own business" are working in politics.
